This is a step by step tutorial on installing Navi-x on your jailbroken aTV2 in XBMC. This is also assuming you already have “Repositories Installer” .zip file SSH’d onto your device, unzipped and installed. You also need to make sure all repo’s and addon’s are installed, if you haven’t done this please visit my post “Installing new add-ons & repo’s”
Good, now that all the add-ons and repo’s are installed, here we go…
Select ‘System’ from you main XBMC menu
Select “Get Add-ons”
Select “All Add-ons”
Select “Program Add-ons”
Scroll down alphabetically, and select “Navi-x”
Select “Install”, once installed, you will then see the word “Enabled” beside the addon Navi-x
Using the Menu button, exit/menu out until you are back at the main XBMC menu, then select programs
You will now see Navi-x added to your programs list, select it.
Once opened, you want to select ‘Navi extreme media portal’ to get started
Then start off getting familiar by selecting ‘Site Scrapers’, which will open a list of choices for your viewing
Get familiar and keep on surfing till you are comfortable with how it works, each menu option under ‘Navi extreme media portal’ will take you to different viewing choices and interests and feed type.
Hope you found this post useful to increase your atv2 XBMC viewing experience.
